Lots of Food

My Camp is located in Forest County Pa. Next to the Allegheny National Forest and the Tionesta Creek. In my opinion one of the most beautiful areas in Pa. Forest County is the least populated in the whole state.Also there are no traffic lights,no four lane highways and no radio stations. Nearly half of the 273,920 acre county is publicly owned. And its 93 percent wooded. 513,000 acres of National Forest are in Forest County. There are two State Game Lands #24,#28 and there is Clear Creek State Forest Land and 4000 acres of Cook Forest State Park. Also Collins Pine Company leaves its 47,858 acres in Forest County open for Hunting and Non-motorized recreation.Such as hiking and camping.There are many outdoor activities to do here in Forest County. Camping,Hunting,Fishing,BoatingWaterskiing,Hiking,Bicycling,Snowmobiling,ATV and TraiBiking,Picinicking,Horseback Riding
Plus many natural and scenic attractions.

THE NAME TIONESTA IS A CORRUPTION OF THE INDIAN WORD TYONESIYO MEANING { THERE IT HAS FINE BANKS }
